1. Agreement to terms
By creating an account or using MonkeConnect, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Account eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use MonkeConnect. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. User conduct
Be respectful, honest, and professional. You may not harass, scam, spam, impersonate others, or post false or misleading information. You are responsible for the content you share and the agreements you make with other users.
4. Jobs and payments
MonkeConnect helps users find each other and agree on work. When you post or accept a job, you are entering an agreement directly with the other user. Payments are processed through Stripe. You are responsible for:
- Clearly describing the work, deliverables, deadlines, and payment terms.
- Honoring payments for completed work and delivering what was promised.
- Resolving disputes between yourselves in good faith.
We may charge a platform protection fee on transactions, which is shown before you confirm any payment. Stripe's terms and privacy policy also apply to payment activity.
5. MonkeConnect's role
MonkeConnect is a platform, not a party to your transactions. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of jobs or users. We are not liable for disputes, losses, or damages that arise between users, except where required by law.
6. Pro subscription terms
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly through Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to recurring billing through Stripe until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We may change Pro pricing or features with reasonable notice.
7. Prohibited activities
You may not use MonkeConnect for illegal activities, fraud, money laundering, selling unauthorized goods, distributing malware, exploiting minors, or any activity that violates these terms or applicable laws. We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules.
8. Account termination
You may delete your account at any time in your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, harm other users, or create risk for the platform. Termination does not erase your obligation to complete pending payments or resolve active disputes.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MonkeConnect is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any losses related to transactions or communications between users. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
10. Dispute resolution
We encourage users to resolve disputes directly. If a dispute involves MonkeConnect, you agree to first contact us at monkeconnecthelp@gmail.com and attempt to resolve the matter informally before pursuing any formal legal action.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “last updated” date. Continued use of MonkeConnect after changes means you accept the updated terms.
